Summary
This toolkit is a resource to support stakeholders to learn together about how climate action can address community priorities. It was developed through a community-based project at the University of Toronto Scarborough called the Listening Project (LP). The LP is an action research project aimed at understanding how climate action intersects with people’s everyday concerns. Using a range of listening session methods, we create spaces of deep listening and mutual learning between local communities and researchers in order empower and shape climate action through the organization of listening sessions that draw on different methods.
The listening sessions seek to employ the listening in order empower and motivate action.

No problem, there are multiple ways to go about designing and leading your session!
In this short document, you will find 10 different methods, including a few variations, that you can use as listening tools.
